Day 1 – ARRIVES TO ISRAEL - land at Ben Gurion airport, pick up and transfer to Tel Aviv. Early dinner and hopefully good night sleep.
 

 

Day 2 – Caesarea -Mt. Carmel- Megiddo-Nazareth - we will begin our day driving North to visit Caesarea where we explore the ruins of the Roman & Crusader City. Built by Herod the Great, Caesarea is where Paul was imprisoned and tried and where Cornelius was converted. 
Continue to Mt. Carmel, site of Elijah the Prophet’s dramatic contest against the false prophets of Baal. We will go on to Megiddo the traditional site of Armageddon, and then we will go on to Nazareth – Nazareth Village, where Jesus spent most of His childhood. End the day at Yardenit, the Baptismal site, for a Baptism time in the Jordan River. 
Dinner & overnight – Sea of Galilee.
 

 

Day 3 – TOUR THE GALILEE - Today we will dedicate our time to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Drive north through the Golan Heights to Caesarea Philippi and the Banias, one of the water sources of the Jordan River. Continue back to the Sea of Galilee to visit Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Ministry and walk along the ruins.
Visit Mt. of the Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Stop for a famous St. Peter’s Fish lunch. Continue to Tabghawhere the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish took place. Sail across the Sea of Galilee in a wooden boat and see the “Jesus Boat”.
Dinner & overnight – Sea of Galilee.
 

 

Day 4 – Beit Shean – Shepherd’s Fields – Jerusalem - Drive south to Beit Shean, the largest Archeological site in Israel. We will explore this ancient Roman City with its Amphitheater and reconstructed streets. We will then continue south to the Shepherd’s Fields overlooking Bethlehem before entering Jerusalem. 
Dinner & Overnight – Jerusalem.
 

 

Day 5 – Old City of Jerusalem - We will begin the morning with a magnificent view of the Old City from the Mount of Olives. We will walk down the traditional Palm Sunday route to the Church of Dominus Flevit. Continue on to the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Church of All Nations. Spend some time in the Private Prayer Garden. Then enter the Old City via the Lion’s Gate and begin our walk down the Via Dolorosavisiting the many Stations of the Cross. Along the way we will visit the Pool of Bethesda, Antonio’s Fortress and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We will visit the Jewish Quarter and then continue to Mount Zion where we will visit the Room of the Last Supper and Caiaphas’ House. 
Dinner & overnight – Jerusalem.
 

 

Day 6 – Temple Mount – New City - This morning we will visit the Temple Mount and see the Dome of the Rock. Then continue to the south steps of the Temple Mount where you will walk on the original steps that led up from the Kidron Valley to the main entrance of the Temple. We will visit the Western Wall and the Western Wall Tunnels, Then on to the Pool of Siloam and the City of David where we will visit Hezekiah’s tunnel.
Dinner & overnight – Jerusalem.
 

 

Day 7 – En Gedi – Qumran – Dead Sea - After Breakfast we will drive to the Dead Sea area to visit Qumran, the place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Then continue to En Gedi, the largest oasis along the western shore of the Dead Sea. This area was allotted to the Tribe of Judah and was famous is the time of Solomon. En Gedi served as one of the main places of refuge for David as he fled from Saul. We then continue to our hotel in the Dead Sea for afternoon of rest & relaxation. Take a float in the Dead Sea or enjoy the hotel spa or just rest. 
Dinner & overnight – Dead Sea.
 

 

Day 8 – Masada - Jerusalem – Garden Tomb - Today we visit Masadathe site of the Zealot’s last stand against the Romans, which was originally built as a magnificent palace for Herod the Great. 
Drive back to Jerusalem to visit Yad Vashem – the Holocaust Memorial. We will then drive via the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, to the Israel Museum where you will see the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are located and the model of ancient Jerusalem. End the day at the Garden Tomb where we will have a time of prayer and take the Lord’s Supper. Have a nice farewell dinner before arriving at airport for late flight home..
